KROGER AND UFCW LOCAL 700 IN INDIANAPOLIS REACH TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
INDIANAPOLIS, June 11, 2008 - The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) announced today it has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with the United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 700 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The tentative agreement covers over 4,200 Kroger associates who work in 60 stores in and around Indianapolis and other parts of Indiana including Bloomington, Crawfordsville and Kokomo.
The UFCW will present the tentative agreement to its members for consideration. Details of the tentative agreement are not being released pending ratification.
